Job Title: Embedded Control Systems Engineer

 General Responsibilities:
DESCRIPTION:
Create rapid prototype and production control systems for control system customers using MotoTron's ECU hardware, automated code generation and calibration tools. Interface with customers for technical requirements, prototype, development and training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

·  Develop application software in Matlab/Simulink

·  Calibrate and troubleshoot control systems

·  Train customers in use of MotoTron's code generation and calibration tools

·  Specify ECU hardware for applications

·  Strong written and verbal communication

Education & Experience
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

·  Minimum BS in Mechanical Engineering, or Electric Engineering

·  Experience with Simulink based control software for prototype automotive applications: Ability to understand complex electronic and mechanical systems and apply knowledge to algorithm design.

·  Expert in at least one of the following areas:

·  Engine control (spark ignition, Diesel)

·  Hybrid (electric or hydraulic) vehicle control

·  Electric vehicle control

·  Electric motor control

·  Battery Management Systems

·  Transmission control

·  Hydraulic Controls

·  Chassis control (stability, traction, adaptive cruise, etc)
